Nicol has been working with children and their families for over 20 years.
She has worked in private therapeutic settings as well as public agencies.
Nicol has expertise in the areas of child abuse, child forensic interviewing, adoptions, training foster care/placement, licensing, investigations, dependency proceedings and Child Abuse/CPS/Law Enforcement investigations. Nicol also has expertise in clinical social work, therapy, social work and the standard of care.
Nicol has completed over a thousand child abuse investigations and interviews including neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, domestic violence exposure and child deaths.
Nicol works as a national consultant and subject matter expert on cases involving CPS/DCFS, child abuse, forensic interviewing, adoptions, clinical social work and therapy.
Nicol enjoys taking cases for the Plaintiff and the Defense.
Nicol has been retained as an expert in many states and works nationally.
